Adults began to intervene after the fact; they learned that other youth had known that the conflict was imminent. What might have been different if youth had been trained with the tools to handle the problems that arise in their own lives? This was how Peer Resources began, with the premise that young people are on the front lines of their own lives, and with the resources and opportunities to lead, will make the best choices for themselves and their peers.
