Summertime Reflections from Peer Resources Educator Pathway Program

From CTE Peer Resources Educator Pathway Coordinator, Esther Flores: This summer sixteen Peer Resources Educator Pathway youth participated in SFUSD’s Summer Internship for Tomorrow’s Educators (SITE). Peer Leaders designing transformative change in their schools

Peer Resources empowers youth as agents of change. Annually, 600 trained youth leaders serve over 14,000 of their peers in 14 San Francisco public middle and high schools.  Together, they work to make transformative change. 81% of youth began to see themselves as role models making positive change through Peer Resources; 3 of 4 youth served improve their communication skills and healthy decision making.
